    WINNER: WITHERNSEA HIGH SCHOOL, Withernsea, East Riding of Yorkshire: the helmets made of hair were executed fantastically and were a very original idea: so well-executed it was difficult to see they were hair and not actual helmets! Good execution of other hair designs helped to create a wonderful overall effect.

Great variation in dramatic skills shown with subtle, realistic performances portrayed just as well as more over-the-top performances in places. Mature execution by a talented cast.

    "Beauty Within"
    Jane Barnell, a baby born with down covering her tiny face brings upset and conflict to a once happy family. A mother's inability to accept a daughter that doesn't conform to society drives her father away before Jane herself, whilst still only young, is sold to a travelling circus. This, unbeknownst to her, shapes her life for better and worse.
